The STIHL GTA 40 is perfect for tree and shrub care, professional horticulture and landscaping, and processing wood on construction sites. For precise handling, it features an ergonomically shaped operating handle with a hand guard and an upper grip point for the second hand, designed to prevent slipping. The claw-shaped deflector mechanism separates the upper grip area from the cutting attachment.

Additional features include a mechanical operating system with a rocker on both sides, variable chain speed, a sprocket cover with side-mounted chain tensioning, and an LED charge-level indicator. Steel hook-in eyelets on both sides allow for attaching fall protection, making it ideal for treetop maintenance.
