These Board Buddies are made from die-cast aluminum and feature non-marring green neoprene rubber wheels. Because the wheels turn in both directions, they function as a hold-down rather than an anti-kickback device and are ideal for use with shapers. You can mount these to fences that are 3-inch to 3-1/2-inch high x 1-inch or wider. Mounting typically requires minor modifications to the shaper fence.

The K-1105 main body features a pivoting arm which supports the roller, and this is kept tight against the material by means of a high tension pressure spring attached to the housing and a counter-pivoted adjustment lever. The Board Buddies maintain even pressure against the table and fence which decreases the risk of stock moving out of position. Board Buddies are completely adjustable so that the roller height can be set correctly for your stock thickness. Simply rotate the roller height adjustment knob located on the back of the W1105 to adjust to your desired height.
